Roosevelt School is so welcoming!
We love to visit Roosevelt School as Principal Simmons always makes us feel so welcome. Today Julio arranged for us to provide 'take home' books for their 5 pre-K and Kindergarten classes. We had so much fun when Ms Brawley invited us in to meet her wonderful class and watch as they got to pick their books. All the kids we saw at Roosevelt were very friendly and beautifully behaved. What a treat!

Thanks Dawn and Dick!
Big hugs to Dawn and Dick who continue to find great kids books for us at a private school in Westchester. We distributed a lot of them today to some very happy kids..... Check out the other posts today to see where they went!

The Domus Book Carts made it through the winter!
Every week we fill up these two library carts at Domus in Stamford and they are outside under their canopy for the community 24/7. I am thrilled that we get enough wonderful books to do this, but more importantly, it is great to show up and see that they have been thoroughly picked through by kids, teachers and families in the neighborhood. Love those readers!!!
And thanks to Ed Hill and the school's janitors who make sure they put the carts inside each time we have a Nor'Easter!
Love it when Kids donate their old books
Minds in Motion
Very happy to provide books this week for Bridgeport's Minds in Motion event hosted by the Connecticut Association for the Gifted

Three things to be thankful for....
Thanks to Cheryl Capitani of New Canaan Library who donated a lot of great kids books today. Also thanks to Rueben who filled up his Wakeman Boys & Girls Club van with books for Cesar Batalla school in Bridgeport.
We also passed the 100,000 mark for kid's book deliveries today. Yippeee!
